STORE OF ST TOME THE ELDER. PROVINCIAL MUSEUM

Nalvillos Square, 3

They are found in a renaissance palace of the deans and a romanesque church from the twelfth century. After the ecclesiastical confiscations of Mendizabal it is turned over to private ownership and it is interesting to know that until the 50’s, this place was used as a mechanic workshop. In this particular location the warehouse of Celtic and Roman parts (the mosaic floor is an example), which can be visited, is found. In this unique museum we will also find graves from different eras, a number of Celtic boars found in the province and Muslim graves, which can be identified because they are much narrower, bearing in mind that Muslims bury their dead sideways.
